Jesus Christ

Son of God and Messiah

The central figure of Christianity, whose life, teachings, death, and resurrection form the foundation of Christian faith.

Jesus Christ is the central figure of the Christian faith, believed by Christians to be the incarnate Son of God and the promised Messiah. Born in Bethlehem and raised in Nazareth, Jesus began His public ministry around age 30, teaching through parables, performing miraculous signs, and gathering disciples. His radical message of God's kingdom, love, and forgiveness challenged religious authorities of His day. After three years of ministry, He was crucified under Pontius Pilate, but according to Christian belief, rose from the dead on the third day. His life, death, and resurrection offer salvation and reconciliation with God to all who believe in Him.
