Account & Data Deletion Request

At Bible Way, we respect your privacy and your right to control your data.

If you would like to request deletion of your Bible Way account and any associated personal data, please follow the steps below.

How to request account deletion

Option 1: In the App

  1. Open the Bible Way app
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account

Option 2: Via Email

Submit a deletion request by emailing us at:

[email protected]

(Please include the email address associated with your Google Sign-In account, if applicable)

We will verify the request and process the deletion.

What data will be deleted

Once your request is completed, we will permanently delete:

  • Your Bible Way user account (including anonymous or Google-linked accounts)
  • Study progress and reading history
  • Prayer notes, journal entries, and saved content
  • App usage data associated with your account
  • Any personal preferences linked to your account

Data that may be retained

For legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes, we may retain minimal, anonymized data (such as aggregate analytics or records required by law).

No retained data will be used to identify you personally.

Retention period

  • Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days
  • During this period, your data may be temporarily retained for verification purposes
  • After processing, deletion is permanent and irreversible

Important notes

  • If you use Firebase Anonymous Authentication, deleting the app alone does not delete your account or data.
  • To fully remove your data, you must submit an account deletion request using the steps above.
